Easter is a traditional festival celebrated in many countries. It is a time of hope.
To help our students understand about other cultures an Easter activity was held on Sunday 16th April, organized by our own MCC Events Club. Students and staff came together to design Easter eggs and Easter bonnets. The students had to use their creative skills to put together their own designs using limited materials. The results were unique Easter creations.
In the afternoon there was an Easter egg hunt and the teachers hid the newly designed eggs all around the campus. The students then had the fun task of finding as many eggs as possible.
The day ended with the students watching the movie ‘Rise of the Guardians’.
Students at MCC have had the opportunity this year to experience different festival celebrations, both Chinese and Western, as part of their education outside the classroom.
