HAPPY HALLOWEEN

IN THIS SECTION

 January 15, 2018

“HALLOWEEN” originated from the Catholic Church. Every year on November 1, Catholics celebrate a holy holiday called ‘All Halloween Day’ or ‘All Saint’s Day’. Traditionally, on October 31, the Celts would hold the annual bumper harvest festival, to celebrate the end of the old year and the beginning of the new year.

Early in the morning, the students and teachers eagerly busied themselves preparing a variety of Halloween related activities, which included a spectacular range of costumes and make-up.

Additionally, students also learnt how to carve traditional Halloween pumpkin lanterns. The history of pumpkin lanterns can be traced back to Ireland.
