On August 8th, 2017, the students from Malvern College Chengdu went to the final summer internship company, Savills China, to start their two days’ learning of real estate service knowledge.

Mr. Chen, who is the assistant director of market research department in Savills, shared the basic knowledge of commercial real estate and used the commercial real estate in Chongqing as the topic for discussion.

After the discussion, students came up with the plan of distributing the commercial real estate land. Mr. Chen evaluated each group’s plan and there were a lot of excellent ideas which could be practised.

In the afternoon, Ms. Nina Mao, who is the assistant director of the housing department, shared sales methods and techniques, and analyzed how to observe the customers’ psychology.

During the following day, Mr. Terrace Yip, who is the assistant director of property and asset management in Savills, introduced the property management process and the latest intelligent model to let the students have a new understanding of property.

In the afternoon, several employees from Savills interacted with students to tell them what kind of person is suitable for property management, as well as the reason why they chose the property management industry.

Students said that they have a basic understanding of property management through a brief study in two days. In the end of the internship, we had the pleasure of inviting Mr. Hu Yuhua , the chairman of Savills, to answer students’ questions, if they still had any questions regarding property management.
